get the guideWhat a joy. Was a little skeptical of offer but thought I’d try it at least once…..WOW! Great products, great service, great company. I’ll be a regular!
I’ve ordered twice from Primary and really like the quality of beans they provide. Their website is also very useful with cooking info and recipes to try for each bean variety. I will definitely be ordering from them again.
This was a good sampler to try beans I was not familiar with. Just started cooking with them and so far, very good!
We recently got into beans as we try to reduce dependence on meat. Tried another brand of mail order beans and got a recommendation for primary beans. The bean set is great. So much fun to try a different bean each week. Recommend option to be able to buy this in the future without the cardboard box.
The beans are as represented. May be cooked without overnight soaking. Beans are flavorful and with added spices can have the flavors of many varied cuisines.
Beans from the grocery store are fine. But who knows how long they've been there? So around Christmas, I was served an ad for primary beans. My only thought was, "yum, sounds good" and I bought the "all the beans" pack so I didn't have to think.
They are REALLY good. I've only tried a few of the varieties at this point, but my pantry is much more exciting than it was before they came to stay with me.
It was expensive but good.
After finally slow-cooking last year’s chickpeas, I found myself craving more. I ordered multiple packages. They are sweet, versatile and scrumptious. I add them to soups, pestos, polentas, and like them on their own with a bit of salt, oil and parsley. I am so glad you offer them.
On a lark I ordered a variety of beans thinking, “How could they be that different from bagged in the store”. I am here to say - I am here to say, “All the difference in the world”!! Never going back! They truly are wonderful!!
What a joy. Was a little skeptical of offer but thought I’d try it at least once…..WOW! Great products, great service, great company. I’ll be a regular!
I finally got around to cooking up a pound of the canalini beans in my instant pot. When I opened the pot, there was a piece of white plastic on top of the beans.
I can send a photo if needed. Just wanted to let you know
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback and for supporting our small business. Your report of plastic in the box is surprising given our robust QC system, but we would love to collect the details and will follow up with you to make it right.
I'm finding that my (aging) body really prefers organic foods (and dislikes whatever residues of fertilizer or pesticides remains on the non-organic). As a result, your variety of organic beans are perfect for me. I wasn't raised in a bean-eating home, but I'm quickly learning how to do it with your beans. Not having to soak them is a great benefit because I can create a big Dutch oven full of beans and broths and let them simmer while I do other things. Then I portion them into small-ish glass containers for the freezer and top off with the bean juices. (I also save any leftover juice in a separate freezer container as if it was a sourdough starter for a future pot. Thanks for your beans and all your tips about how to make and use them!
